Hollow and Sorrow~

This post finished last night.
But I couldn't post it due to the bad connection at my place in naracoorte.
I was able to do it but the connection just didn't work after I finish my post.
Here it is the post I wrote last night.

Today is a day that I'll never forget.

Right now, I'm in Mt. Gambier for my weekend trip.
I'm stayin in the backpackers called "The Jail".
It is a real jail until 1995 and transformed into backpackers hostel.
They have free internet to use. There is only one computer here, but not many people using it. I just brought my laptop over and plug in the internet cable. That's why I can get a stable connection to post the entry now. I'm sitting in the lounge room which was a jail church before. It's kinda cool to stay here. I'll tell you more about it tomorrow when I get back to naracoote then.

My place in Adelaide~

Have already in Adelaide, including today, for 10 days. My place is the name of the backpackers we stay for the past week. It's a nice small cozy place actually.

I was gonna update the blog when I was in Melbourne. Because I finally pay for a week long unlimited use of the wireless connecton there. The speed was satisfying and the most important is it didn't have bandwidth restriction. God knows how much I miss Taiwan's internet service. Before Melbourne, I've never use internet as long as I want or whenever I want. So when I get the internet access in Melbourne, I spend most of time in the Melbourne Metro YHA. Not only for the internet service but their couch in the ground floor lounge is so comfortable. It makes you want to just lay there and don't wanna get up and leave. But I do go out a lot when I was there. I also when to MCG to see an authentic Australian Football which is Collinwood V.S. North Melbourne. It was a very good game. Keeping you entertained all the time.

We were originally set to leave on 24th to Adelaide via Great Ocean Road to go camping with my friends who I met during the work in Sydney Royal Easter Show. But they decided to head to the camping ground a day earlier. Due to that, we have to leave on 23th and cancel another plan which is a comedy of a guy play 40 characters and tell the story of Star Wars Trilogy. Thank god we didn't book the ticket in advance or we might be lose our money on the tickets for we couldn't attend it. The Great Ocean Road was awesome but 2 days definately too short. We will go there for another trip for sure.

We arrive in Adelaide at 2am in the morning so we couldn't find a place or hostel to stay so we decided to sleep in the car until the next day we returned the car in 9am. After my friends pick us up in the car rental place, we head to her house and took a quick shower, packed up the backpack then heading to Parachilna in Flinders Range. I'll tell you guys more about this camping later. But all I can say right now is that camping was a BLAST!!!

Now we found a job in Naracoorte. Gatta catch the bus now. Until then.

In the National Library of Australia, Canberra now!!!

Right now, I'm sitting in the the National Library of Australia which located in the capital of Australia, Canberra.
I know. Sounds very cool, right? :D
I've been in Australia for exact 5 weeks already. It has been a very great trip so far.
Met some friends and will continue to meet more friends from around the world.
Life in Sydney was really great. Stay in the same hostel since the day I arrived and the room just fantastic.
I almost view the room as my own suite in Sydney.
When I left Sydney yesterday, I felt kinda sad.
For I'm almost act like I'm the resident of Sydney and gonna leave this beautiful city.
No matter what, I'll be back in Sydney in the end of the year for the New Year's Eve. Til then, I'll do whatever I can to travel around in this continent.

Canberra, in the other way, is a city which really look like a future city. It's the only city which was designed first then built it up.
Everything here, the highways, the roads, the ramps and the buildings are so organized.
When you see the map of Canberra, it just looks like a giant future technology base or giant crop circle.
I stay in Canberra city YHA. It's an awesome place.
Clean, neat and main shopping mall just few minutes walk.
Love this place already. :D
I'm so easy to fall in love with a new city.
Maybe it has to do with my ability of easy to get used to the new place. :)

I have only 5 hours left to bike around the place.
Have to return the bike at 5PM, so I better go now. Talk to you guys later.
And my next destination is Melbourne! :D

It's so hard blogging in OZ~

It's almost 2 weeks here since I arrived in Sydney.

Except the cost of foods is kinda expensive here which I have way to solve it, I love almost everything here.
Relaxing atmosphere filled in everywhere. Compare to the high-paced life in Taiwan, Sydney is way to relaxing.
The only thing I found out which is inconvienient is the internet.

My hostel do provide free wireless service but you can only use 30 minutes per day and there is no way you can add extra time, even you wanna pay for it. So after checking out the email and some information I need, I have not much time left to use. I do try to get on MSN, yahoo and skype but it just to see if anybody left any offline messages. Of course, you can chat with me whenever you see me online. I'll reply asap and once you find me not replying or offline. That means my time is up. But feel free to shout if I appeared in offline. I can always get your messages as long as I login to the service again.

There is another fast way to contact me. Just send me text message via cellphone. It's way cheaper than to make a international call. I can get it and reply it right away. I believe most of people already get my numbers here in Australia. If you haven't, leave your contact number here and l'll send the text which has my numbers here.

I typed all this in a travel agency called "wicked travel" where they provide free internet for backpackers to use for free. According to what they said, the first 30 minutes is free but they will charge after 30 minutes. To be honest, you can sit here for all day and they wouldn't know how long you have used internet. In the other hand, who would sit here all day when there're too much to see outside.

Since I have this place to use, I'll try to find a way to update my blog as frequent as possible.

In Singapore now~

I'm in Singapore Changi Terminal 3 Now!!!
After 4.5 hours flight, I stepped on the soil of Singapore. Only have less than 1.5 hours here, then I'm on the plane to Sydney!!!
Changi T3 is HUGE and BEAUTIFUL.

Goodbye 2007!!!

Last day of 2007!
I have to leave a mark on my blog in the last day of 2007!
Heading out for fireworks on Taipei 101, the hightest building of the WORLD. Can't waste time anymore.
Need to hurry out or I'll stuck in the crowds and not able to get the best view for the fireworks.
